This is a place that I will return to again and again. Took a chance last night and oh what a delightful surprise The decor is beautiful...the best looking Asian restaurant in the area. You can tell they took the time and effort to make sure each detail was perfect from the floors to the booths to the tableware. Each of the owners stopped by and the manager to make sure we understood each element and make us feel welcome. Okay on to the actual food. Started with a pot of jasmine tea which was flavorful and steamy then on to the appetizer which was a thai hot and sour seafood soup. Needed something to clear my sinuses but oh the flavors were layered and complex it is on my top ten list now. My friend had the papaya salad which was also unique and good. Next up was SUSHI, since we are both huge sushi fans this was a big test. Who ever heard of strawberries on sushi? No me but it was a refreshing twist that amazed me. I personally had the volcano roll and went simply with a crunchy California which were both fresh and tasty. For a restaurant who is not specific just to sushi I was impressed with the quality and presentation but did feel that they were going light on the spicy so next time will ask for more spice in the spicy options.. To make the night complete we had dessert which which was nice to finish it off with nice but predictable selections. Overall the service was good, made me feel at home and the food quality matched the effort put in the atmosphere. I reccomend!

Great sushi and the thai curry was awesome. It was just the two of us, so we did not try the fondue but the tables having that smelled fantastic. Looking forward to going back with a bigger group and doing the fondue. Don't forget to BYOB, there's a state liquor store just the other side of the cinema.

Service was horrible. Waiter could barely speak English and the restaurant is so noisy, any understanding was impossible. Didn't get order right but wasn't worth saying anything. Man making sushi was yelling at a server....ugh. Managers look lost. Pass on this place, not worth it.

Overpriced and small portions. When I left there, I was still hungry and ate pizza when I got home. The atmosphere is nice inside, but I didn't care for the food.

i've been here twice and it keeps gettin better each time. its obvious that its a new restaurant and goin through growing pains with inexperienced servers and all. But the sushi is awesome and so creative looking. It may be a dollar or two more than say sapporo but as hot as the interior is i don't mind paying a tiny bit more. Im sure as time goes on the service will improve as they get more experience. But i didnt really get that bad of service as some of the others have posted. i'll be back again, soon.

I went here for the first time last night on a whim with friends. My friend was talking about Fusion Fire and their "Hot Pots". I was interested/intrigued. I ended up going with a traditional dinner, the Mango Chicken. Best decision I could have made. The chicken was super tender, and cooked to perfection, veggies still crisp and not soggy. The sauce was to die for. Our server Troy was really helpful when my friends decided to go with a Hot Pot combo - Vegetarian broth with an assortment of meats and veggies. From what I saw, I was entirely impressed with the freshness. The meats were super fresh, almost looked like they were cut up fresh minutes before. (Minus the blood of course). Everything was perfect, and I know I will definitely be returning to Fusion Fire soon! Definitely a new best eat on the West Shore! Oh yea, it's BYOB! A good bottle of Riesling went well with my chicken dish!

i ate here twice. once for lunch and once for dinner. the lunch was great. i had the sushi lunch special. it was delicious and resonably priced. the service wsa fine. dinner on the other had, was terrible. we were seated right away and had to wait 15 minutes to get a waiter to come over and take our order. the waiter acted annoyed to serve us. he never came back to check on us after our food was served. had to ask twice for water. we even had to wait another 15 minutes or so to get the check after he cleaned the plates off the table. all in all the food was good, but with such poor service, i don't think i will be back.

I have never had a bad meal at Fusion Fire. We've been to the restaurant about 5 times now since it opened. It would be more if we didn't have two small kids that keep us at home most of the time. When we're able to get a sitter, this is usually our destination. The service is great. Danny is our favorite server...he knows the food and stays on top of the drinks and plates and has a great sense of humor. The sushi is always fresh and they have some very creative rolls. My wife and I get the Fusion Roll each time. It's hands down our favorite. Last night I had the beef Pad Thai, my new favorite entree and the wife had the walnut, honey shrimp...a new dish which was also great. The fried rice and various chinese dishes on the menu have all been well above average. Price is reasonable for the size and quality of food that you get here. If you've not been to Fusion Fire, do yourself a favor and try it.

Overview: Slightly overpriced Asian restaurant offering the usual entrees, sushi, and also hot pots. Food: My boyfriend and I went to the restaurant for my birthday and specifically to try the hot pot. I really liked the fact that you could get two different broths, although I found the fact that you had to pay for the broths a bit off putting. All hot pot places I had been to before did not do this. We ordered the kimchi broth and at our server's recommendation, we ordered the chicken broth with the seasonings from the vegetarian broth thrown in. We then ordered the land and sea platter and sweet thai chili dipping sauce. Again, you had to pay for the tiny dish of dipping sauce, which I found to be ridiculous. Of the two broths, the kimchi was my favorite. While it tasted absolutely nothing like kimchi whatsoever, I did like the salty, seaweed like taste. I thought the chicken broth was only okay. The seasonings added in made it taste like the flavors of Thanksgiving to me, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it didn't really go with the Asian theme. The meats were awesome, but again, it was overpriced for what you got. I'm fine with the amount of meat, but they were pretty skimpy on the vegetables! Recommend: I've only had the hot pot, but I do recommend the kimchi broth. Atmosphere: Recently renovated, so the interior is very nice, modern, and clean. Service: Our waiter was very friendly, although not very attentive. We came on a Sunday night and although we were one of the only groups there, I only had my water refilled once. It also took an extremely long time for us to eat, nearly an hour. While I fully realize that a hot pot will take time to heat up, etc. I have never had to wait that amount of time and I have had hot pots many times before.

What a pleasant surprise!! The crunchy tuna dragon roll should be the first thing you order if you have never eaten here before. The spicy chicken basil fried rice had just the right amount of heat, (def a medium hot), and my daughter loved her chicken and beef hibachi, but I can't vouch for her as she wasn't willing to share ; )

Thought the food was good but the service and wait so detracted from it I could not really enjoy the food. Gave it three trys but will not go back. Better choices in the area.

Mehhh... I wasn't too impressed.... Very nice restaurant, well put together. Got the Tom Yum soup and it tasted tomato based, not at all what I'm use too, did not taste a lick of lemongrass either. It was good but not if your looking for Tom Yum.. Got the satay (chicken skewers) they were nicely grilled, but NO flavor, not a fan of dark meat either. Entree- Yakisoba, great flavor, again more dark meat, I like eggs but almost more egg than noodles... Not sure if I would return...

Fusion Fire has a large, pan-Asian menu, which often results in some sections--i.e. sushi or Thai dishes--lacking in flavor and quality. While nothing I've tried here has been amazing, it's all been decidedly decent. What has impressed me more than anything about Fusion Fire is the service: every server I've had has been extremely friendly and helpful, and the manager is clearly on top of everything, especially with regard to allergies. This place is great if you have a big group, and my family likes to come here with a few bottles of wine for birthday get-togethers because everyone can find something they like. While the food isn't the best of the best, it's all pretty tasty, and the service and atmosphere will keep my family coming back.

Came here with some friends to get some Sushi. While we're all new to the sushi world, I enjoyed my meal. Our waiter, keegan, was extremely helpful when ordering since we had some questions and unsure of what to order. He recommended a roll that was no longer on the menu but was popular and one of his favorites; the Chesapeake roll. It was good, would def get it again. I will def be back to this lovely restaurant.

Sushi is okay. but I will never gonna order any other items. Not a real Japanese foods. I don't think the owner even know what the Japanese foods are. Waitress was not friendly at all.

I don't know how different central PA sushi is, but compared to the Philadelphia area, it didn't make the cut. I ordered seaweed salad and a Godzilla roll for takeout but both were extremely small portions and only mediocre quality. The caviar on top was soaked in a sauce so I couldn't even taste it. Not impressed.

I love their sushi, however who wants to pay to cook their own food when you go out to eat, might as well cook at home.

The boyfriend and I decided to eat here this past Saturday night after hitting two other restaurants that ended up having crazy long wait times. And even though I was on Yelp, checking reviews that did not look so great, we decided to check it out anyway. We were NOT impressed. I mean, as soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with a dry-erase board standing up on the floor at the hostess stand stating that they were going to be on TV on a show called "Restaurant Redemption" and no offense, but that is not a turn-on to me. That to me screams that there was an issue to begin with and no matter what chef comes in and attempts to make changes, that original problem usually still sticks around. Anyone can through up some wallpaper and change out some décor... that doesn't mean the service and food will be any better... I am just saying. And speaking of the service, our waitress was not the most pleasant and when we asked about the "hot pot" option, she talked down to us in a quite condescending manner.. Anyways, we started with an order of shrimp shumai and gyoza, which were fine. No different than any other sushi bar or Japanese restaurant. Nothing special. We then ordered a cup of hot and sour soup and an avocado salad. The soup was extremely goopy, which I know can be the case when it comes to this particular soup, and I can usually push through it even if it is too much...however, this particular cup of hot and sour soup was extremely BLAND. There was no hot, no spicy, no sour, NO flavor. The avocado salad was interestingly plated in a "deconstructed" manner... which was okay, but the avocado was not fully ripe and that was a big turn off. Next came the multitude of sushi rolls that we ordered as our actual dinner. My boyfriend ordered the "Crunchy Tuna Hidden Dragon," which had shrimp tempura inside the roll and spicy tuna on top; and the "Love at First Site," which was a "heart" shaped sushi roll of lobster tempura, avocado, asparagus, cream cheese, and caviar wrapped in a pink soy paper. The "Crunchy Tuna Hidden Dragon" was nothing spectacular, his words and mine since I got to sneak a bite. However, he was apparently in love with the "Love at First Site" roll. I opted not to try this one because I am not a fan of cream cheese. I ordered the "Sakura" roll, which was honestly the SAME thing as the "Crunchy Tuna Hidden Dragon" roll - shrimp tempura inside and topped with spicy tuna and four different colors of caviar; and the "Godzilla" roll, which had spicy tuna on the inside and topped with eel, and supposedly caviar as well, but that was not on my roll at all. Neither one did anything for me. They were nothing amazing. We had also ordered a spicy California roll and a spicy tuna roll, which were the same as what you would get at any other sushi bar. And a side order of fried rice which just tasted awful, and even though we ordered it at the beginning with the rest of our food, we didn't get it until after we were done with all our sushi... and I had to remind that oh-so-lovely waitress of ours that she forgot it, which you could tell quite annoyed her. I also prefer to dip my sushi into ponzu sauce, which is never a problem at any other sushi bar, but this waitress seemed to find it odd that I asked for it. It also showed up on my bill, $0.50 a tiny little serving (the small dish they use for soy sauce, about half full). So, all in all, this place is not worth a second trip...

I saw the episode of Restaurant Redemption featuring Fusion Fire. It takes guts to request help, and even more guts to change. I have great respect for the owners who have a dream and are willing to stop at nothing to achieve it. Since Fusion Fire is a local restaurant and not a chain restaurant, I decided to give it a chance. The new sign is not big enough, and the brown exterior of the building is off-putting, and makes the building disappear into its background. The cold exterior is working hard to keep people from entering the front door. As soon as is possible, a facelift would be a wise investment. It would be a wise investment because if you choose to pass through the front door, you are greeted by a professional and friendly staff who will welcome you into a warm interior. The dining room is clean, well decorated, and calming. While I was disappointed that they did not choose to keep the rice dish suggested in the show, my wife and I LOVED our meals. We had a sushi appetizer (salmon and tuna) that was generous and fresh. I had the spicy basil fried rice with beef, and my wife had the red curry chicken with fried rice. Simply put, our meals were absolutely delicious. My wife and I WILL be back! Yelp currently has the restaurant rated at 3 stars, however, I believe its past false starts are presently unfairly weighing down its rating. This restaurant gets a solid 4 stars from a guy who rarely gives out 5 stars. You owe it to yourself to give this restaurant a fair try. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I absolutely love this place. I have only been there a handful of times, but each and every one of those times I was awed by the beautiful decorations, friendly staff, and delicious food. I also seen the episode of Restaurant Redemption and was actually shocked that people aren't flocking to this place. Yes, the food is a bit expensive...but you get what you pay for. Although I don't get a chance to travel to this area leisurely very often, I will continue to come back each and every time I do.

Hibachi has amazing flavor. Not the old standby hibachi with too much sauce. Great staff. Private tables and nice atmosphere!

Very good food but sometimes the service leaves a lot to desire. Overall I definitely will go back though because I think they have the best sushi in the area.

Fusion Fire is my go to spot for sushi. My friend and I went for dinner last night and they had one server on the floor. I'm assuming this was due to the snow. One of the owners sat us and about 10 minutes later our waitress greeted us and told us she would be right back to get our drink orders. This poor lady was running around the restaurant while the 2 owners sat at a make shift office next to the sushi bar. They never once helped her run food, clean off a table or offer to get our drink order when seated. I really like this place but seeing what I saw last night has left a sour taste in my mouth. Kim was awesome and I hope she is working the next time I go in. The butterfly roll and crunchy tuna hidden dragon are my faves!

  • Amanda L.

Great sushi, sashimi and rolls - fresh and great flavors! Pad Thai is also flavorful. Manager Josh is welcoming and very accommodating. He takes the time to get to know regulars and remembers any special requests. Owners are making great strides in making this restaurant a fresh go to place! Wait staff could use some improvement, but they do have some servers who really provide a great experience

  • Kurt I.

I went in for sushi only, so I can only rate that. Beautiful inside, the waitstaff was friendly, until it became close to closing time and then they became just nasty. The sushi was on par with wegmans. It tasted like grocery store sushi. Nothing stood out as delicious, just merely edible. The prices weren't bad, but I can think of several other sushi places that are heads above this for the same price or a little more. I'd give it 2 1/2 stars if I could, but I'll stick with 3,

    (3)
  • Garrett H.

Absolutely terrible service. Our team of 16 came in for an employee rolloff lunch and we we're not accommodated nicely. Our waitress was totally unprofessional and did not care about our requests. She is the worst waitress I have ever seen.

  • Janelle S.

The decor is very beautiful but overall the experience was nothing special. I had pad Thai that was delicious but my husband had hibachi that was extremely salty and another person in our group said the same of her sushi. Not the worst, but we've had better.

  • Theresa M.

Omg. How can people complain about this place? It is so beautiful inside and very classy. I ordered the Tom Kha Soup with Shrimp and it had a nice subtle spiciness to it. I ordered the spicy rock shrimp which were perfectly made. I love sushi and asked my waitress what the favorite was here. She suggested the Crunchy Tuna Hidden Dragon Roll and i already seen posts on the Ruby roll as being a favorite so I got both and they both were very tasty! Will definitely suggest both. My father doesn't eat sushi, ever but he tried the rolls and liked them both! Come try it for yourself!

Not bad but not great. We had a few cooked rolls that were ok. If the cooked rolls don't taste fresh and amazing then why would I try the raw ones......? The inside is semi nice/fancy for this area, but I don't think we will be returning. There were 3 people on staff while we were there, yet only one, the youngest one was working while the others were chatting it up in the corner. The parking lot is falling apart and confusing because you can barely see the parking spot lines. There's a seating/waiting area in the front by the hostess' desk. There's seating toward the back of the restaurant that is somewhat sectioned off to accommodate a private group. No need to make reservations we went on a Friday night around 8 and there were approx. 10 patrons including us.

Not worth the almost 5 star rating, in my opinion. The good: Nice decor Expansive menu Can accommodate large parties The bad: Fairly expensive for relatively small portions Lack of communication between staff Weekends tend to be busy, waited 30 mins, no real sense of order to how parties were seated Our experience: Went here for date night based on the positive reviews. We were told there was a 30-45 min wait. However, 2 parties of equal size were sat before us with no reservation. No explanation from hostess as to how that happened. When we were sat, we were sat in a room where all the tables were reserved by a large party. Two of the guests had stepped away from their table which the hostess took to mean they were done. They weren't. She sat us at their table and our entire meal we got looks from the rest of the party for essentially taking their table. Our server was friendly upon greeting but that's where that ended. He brought us wine glasses and we ordered sushi as an appetizer. The sushi was very good and the prices were average for the area. Our server did not come back to check how the appetizer was until we were done and ready to order. I ordered the veggie drunken noodles (a little spicier than I've had before, too many peppers) and bf got chicken pad thai. The waiter never cleared our appetizer plates and they sat there until we were done our meal. We got our food and never saw our waiter again until he brought the check. The portions were pretty small for the price. The entrees were pretty good but not fantastic. Overall it was not a mind blowing experience like you'd expect if you read the other reviews. If you're easily impressed, this is the place for you. For me, it was okay but not a new favorite.

I was a big fan of Fusion Fire after first 3-4 times there. We had good food and good service. However, tonight we had some General Tso's along with our sushi that had an odd taste. My wife and I each had only 2 bites before deciding there something "off." When we mentioned it to our waitres,s she was courteous and told the manager (owner); however, there was no real apology from him and the item remained on the bill. On our way out, I mentioned our experience directly to the manager (owner) and while he was pleasant, again, he offered no real apology. I got the vibe he fealt we were fishing for a free lunch, but all we wanted was a sincere apology.

Very cool restaurant. The hot plates at all the tables is the first thing you notice and it's a great idea. I sat at the sushi bar my first visit. The waitress was really pleasant and helpful in drink and food selection. I went with green tea out of the many tea choices. It was freshly brewed and a nice beverage on a chilly night. I will disclaimer my review with this: it's pretty pricey sushi. Even the cheapest ala cart roll is about $3 and most are $5. Still it's good sushi for central PA. I got the Twister roll along with some tuna sushi. It was very fresh and tasty. The rolls are done very well and have a lot of detail. The mix of flavors is fantastic and a fun experience. Seriously, this place is fun. Even the building is cool. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other tasty choices.

First, let me say I love shabu shabu and I was totally thrilled to see it finally make it to this area. I saw the sign go up and I wanted to try this place. Fortunately, I have no plans to return so I'm likely to save quite a bit in food costs this year. Seriously, after eating at this place and seeing the reviews I have to ask, "Am I too picky or does the emperor have no clothes?" Pros: Nice ambiance. Lots of options. Glad to see this type of food being offered in Hbg area. Cons: The sushi SUCKED. Dried up, luke warm, undersized, and sloppy. The server dropped food and didn't replace it. (At those prices we probably lost about $5 worth of food). When we told her something didn't taste quite right, she literally picked some of it off the table and tasted it. Yoo hoo?!?! Didn't I pay for that? Spit it out. Outrageously expensive. Deceptive. The meat is rolled and frozen. As it cooks it shrivels up into something about the size of a half a bite. That big platter seemed to end up providing about the same amount of meat as large Philly cheese steak. Neither of the broths we ordered had any flavor. That included the spicy one. Plus both were oily and didn't cling to the food very well. The instructions for how long to cook the meat leave you with over cooked meat bits. I'm sure it's a "health/safety" issue but I SWEAR we were able to bounce the various "meat balls" like bouncy balls after the requisite cooking time. The three sauces we ordered were boooooorrrringly lacking in flavor. The two special sauces we ordered were blech. The only one any of us liked was the "free" one they give to everyone. The extra sweet potato dish we ordered had about 5 slices and was over priced for the portion. The "make it yourself fish noodle" bag blew up in our hands and when we asked for a replacement you would have thought we were asking for a free meal. No, we did not deliberately destroy the bag after squeezing out about 2 inches because we wanted to get something for free. We gave you the busted up bag, it's not like we were trying to rip you off - drop the attitude. After $130 in sushi and "shabu shabu" all four of us left starving. Hubby snuck over to the Wendys across the street after dropping the rest of us off. Damn him for not bringing me a burger.

I went here a few times since it has open and was surprised that the owner was inspired to open a restaurant that served Mongolian Hotpot from a place I use to frequent in Massachusetts. It's a shame that they had to add other Asian cuisine to cater to the tastes of Central PA and that the main focus isn't on the Hotpots like they are in Massachusetts.

Ive seen the advertisements all over Harrisburg and a friend said they had decent lunch specials so I was just curious enough to stop while driving by. Decor is somewhat cheesy, service was attentive and professional. The food though was just lackluster. I had beef udon noodles that were nothing of note and my bf received some average sushi rolls. I dont have any significant complaints, but there was also nothing to bring me back for a repeat visit... I'll stick with Empire for sushi nights.

Finally got to try Fusion Fire, all my friends have been raving about it. Very nice looking place, friendly staff, great service. Nice menu. We had the Hot pot for 2- came with kobe beef, veggies, 4 different balls, udon noodles and one broth, the hot and spicy broth was Hot and Spicy, the beef was really good, not a fan of any of the balls We also had the Ruby Roll- spicy salmon that was whole and chopped, topped with white tuna and strawberry. It was very good Volcano roll- salmon, tuna, white fish and spicy scallop and a really great mango salad Great dinner, lots of fun, bit expensive but we are fans Love that it's BYOB

By far the best Sushi and Thai food in the entire area. We've been there dozens of times and they've never disappointed me or any of my guests. Highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys the cuisine.

We visit on Thursday for sushi club where the chef offers a special selection of tasty and imaginative sushi. It's fun to see what's being served - never boring. For those who like their food cooked there's some cooked sushi and a good variety of all sorts of Asian dishes. big plus for me -- brown rice! I cannot believe how many area restaurants still don't offer whole grains (and some even say they have brown rice but it's actually fried rice). Healthy options are available. My fav is the salmon hibachi with tons of veggies. Moderately priced. BYOB

My husband and I had a spontaneous night off from work and decided to check out this restaurant. Walking in the place is very nice, ambient atmosphere, we were greeted right away and seated. The only downfall was that we were in the corner and our light was out above our table but just made it more romantic right? We were in a hurry to make it to a movie, and when we let the waitress know she was great with the timing of our food. We started with the steamed dumplings and the sauce and the dumplings were delicious. We both decided on the hibachi style dinners, my husband ate the entire thing, I have lunch today and I am very much looking forward to it. Everything was delicious. And after reading the prior reviews, maybe just the sushi isn't up to par but we didn't try any so I can't comment. The descriptions sounded delicious on the menu and I would like to try some when we go back. Overall, we were impressed and we will be going back, and it is BYOB so take your favorite wine or some sake when you go!

Is there an option on YELP to provide a quarter star rating? neways...if you wish to completely ruin your day with bad food and worst customer service, this is the place you should be looking for. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Thanks Kim for making this happen.

What I loved most about Fusion Fire was our server. The food was amazing too, but Rubie ROCKED! I'm vegan, I ask a lot of questions. When Rubie didn't know an answer, she went & asked. When she found out good news (this place is SO vegan friendly), she seemed JUST as excited as me (there may or may not have been a high-five). We had two appetizers: vegetable spring rolls and samosas, both vegan. I had vegan tom yum soup w/ tofu, the perfect amount of spiciness. For my entree I had panang curry tofu, it was amazing. Then...dessert! Imagine my delight when Rubie discovered that the mango sorbet mochi was vegan! Squee! Really, one of the best desserts of my life. I'm SO glad my mom discovered Fusion Fire, add it to my list of places I can happily eat in Harrisburg! Next time I'm trying the vegetarian hot pot...and when I make my reservations, I'm requesting to be at one of Rubie's tables!

The worst service Ive had in my whole life, extremely mediocre food AND THE MOST PATHETIC EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD. The server yelled at us while talking to us the entire time, we were thoroughly disappointed. We were 15 of us and expected to have a good time, we were instead literally yelled at a couple of times. One of my friends asked how long getting the desserts would take and the waitress (Kim)yelled at him too. Wow. Also gratuity was included so we couldn't do much about that. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever!! This place DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR! Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE

I had the pan fried dumplings and they were good nothing special but good. I also ordered the lettuce wraps and they were delicious i would recommend them to anyone visiting this place. Sushi was good.. Service was prompt and friendly.. Cons: its a little expensive compared to other places of its kind.

Great place to eat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The wife said her food was really good. The Sushi and rolls were perfect. The Naruto roll was new to me and recommended by the staff and it was great!!! Very Gluten Free aware. GF items marked on menu and they had GF soy sauce. BYOB! Nice atmosphere. Have eaten here several times now. Will definitely go back.

I've been to Fusion Fire twice before for weekday lunches and been impressed. Perhaps I set myself up for disappointment yesterday by going mid afternoon on a Sunday. We arrived around 2pm and were the only people there which is never a good sign when dining. A few other parties did arrive before we finished. The restaurant had a rather cold field about it. The LED lights didn't add much warmth to the harsh light coming in from the windows. I had hoped to have a Benito box for lunch but didn't find them on the menu and as such ended up with basil fried rice... too much of it to really enjoy in the middle of the afternoon. Would have loved less rice and some salad and soup. The waitress was a low talker such that had I not known she was there to take my order I wouldn't have known what she wanted. She never came back to ask how we were doing... she did fill our water glasses without comment. So... scratch another restaurant off our already limited selection of places to go. Dim ambiance, flat service, and good but limited options for food. I had hoped this would be a keeper.

My wife saw the restaurant on a food network when they had a make over. Even after seeing the denigrating attitude of the owners whereby most of their clientele were 'meat and potatoes', we went anyway. Waitress forgot my soup and salad with a sushi order, the sushi was dry and leathery, the Japanese rice dish was dry and pretty tasteless. So very disappointed. If you want sushi, go to Shogun over in Harrisburg. If you want pad thai or something similar go to Chalit's in Mechanicsburg. If you want hot pot, go to the Melting Pot. Trying to do too much just yields a marginal ok meal.

Would've given this five stars however couple things I wanted to point out. The takeout and the dining menu did not match. The Chinese food off the menu was mediocre. You come here for the special roles. Not the sushi rolls but the special sushi rolls on the special menu. It is to die for. Very good quality, very creative, just simply delicious. Place is good for kids and groups. You can tell they spent money on the Decour, and they take pride in the business. Make reservations especially on a Friday or Saturday night. If walk-in, wait will probably about 20 to 30 minutes (this was on a Saturday night). Staff is friendly very accommodating. All-around great customer service.

I nod in agreement with those that say the sushi here is top-notch. The Ruby Roll was well-balanced with a very clean finish, and the special off-menu roll we tried was so savory I wanted to take a carton of the sauce home. And they really don't skimp on the quality or quantity of the fish with the rolls. For those folks out there who haven't been adventurous enough to try the hot pot yet, why not live a little? We had the hot pot package for 3 and my oh my, it was epic. Although best done as a group activity, the beauty of hot pot is that it is flexible enough to suit everyone's preferences. It is truly a sight for sore eyes (or taste buds) to see authentic Chinese hot pot in Central PA. Do y'all know how luck you have it?

This place was slightly expensive for only 2 persons ($100 w/ tip) but everything was fresh and service was acceptable w/ 25% of restaurants capacity seated...*soft shell crab was fresh but low grade and not cleaned properly, but, for $8 as an appetizer...not an issue...3.5 stars

I have been watching this location since the first signs went up... I think over a year ago. Located in front of the Cinema Center in Camp Hill, formerly a location of a truly dreadful string of restaurants, I hoped that this restaurant would be different. And different it is! The approach is from the side facing the theater, and extensive renovations have occurred both within and out side of the building. The exterior is attractive (especially comparatively speaking) but the interior is tastefully and beautifully decorated. Parking is ample on the lower/main level. But enough about the bricks and mortar. They just opened this week, and all the staff were helpful and nice. Vivian and Frank, the owners, spent time going around from table to table discussing the renovations, their hiring strategies (they focused on people skills, not necessarily previous experience), and etc. Fascinating and warm people. The manager also spent quite a bit of time checking with guests as well. There are two menus. For those not interested in table top cooking, there are a host of main dish, sushi, soup and other options. We started off with appetizers. I ordered a Ruby Roll and my dining partners ordered spring rolls and a tofu curry. The appetizers were wonderful, and the sushi roll was one of the best that I have experienced here or abroad. Beautifully plated and presented, the roll delivered on their intent to ensure that each ingredient could be discerned when eating the roll. Well constructed, and for the price, a good value. A $12 roll yielded 12 pieces. The spring rolls and tofu curry were outstanding as well. We ordered from the hotpot menu and the 3 of us shared the Fusion Meat lovers. We added the beef broth and the hot and spicy broth, and shitake mushrooms, asparagus, shrimp balls and the veggie tray to the ensemble. We picked a variety of sauces, the Satay, the Fusion, and a couple of others. One person picked the Chinese noodles, and two of us selected Udon. Personally, I felt the additional sauces although yummy, were not necessary as everything out of the pot is flavorful and perfect as is. Just in case someone missed it, you cook your own hotpot on the induction burner on the table top... (there are many other options for those who do not wish to do this). We finished with dessert, and one of my dining partners comment the tiramasu (sp?) was among the top 5 he has ever eaten and the chocolate cake was lovely. A couple things to keep in mind when going ... They are finding their pace and many on their server team are new to restaurant biz, and they are finding their pace. Also, the hotpot process is LONG... be prepared to spend quite a bit of time and to not be in a hurry... and also, be prepared that they are looking for implements to make retrieving the noodles from the pot a bit easier than it is now... especially Udon noodles. If you dine with someone who is uncoordinated like I am ... be prepared to have something slopped or splashed on you. I recommend dark brown shirts, pants, and bibs:-). The restaurant is BYOB.

I had the hot pot and it was terrible! The stock had no flavor at all it was very bland, it tasted like water the service was not great , it was slow. Stopped here after an offroading trip to PA. Had to wait at the front desk while the restaurant was virtually empty, then the hostess took us all the way to one of the two tables that was occupied, looked confused, and then said sorry please wait "they Didnt mark this table as taken." ( wow not obvious from it being absolutely obvious from the front of the restaurant) So we wait right in front of this couple eating, ( fun for everyone) hostess comes back and moves us to a table ( nearly all booths open). As we are looking over the menu the waiter comes and says " before you get comfortable, could you please move tables" - obviously we left. Ridiculous service. Don't chance it let this place fail quicker then it surely is.

Happy to say that we did not have the negative experience that others have had. We had a great night out at this restaurant this past Saturday. Arrived early (6 pm!) and were seated within 15 minutes. The lobby area is nice enough, but the dining room decor is lovely. Modern, cool, sleek, but honestly a bit too bright above the tables. My husband and I ordered the Hot pot and were not disappointed. The options seemed overwhelming and while they offer a "Meat Combo", I'd like to see a fast track option where the meat, broth and sauces are pre-selected for first timers. Our waitress did do an excellent job at explaining options available. We selected the sirloin, spicy broth, beef broth, chinese noodles and shrimp balls. For sauces, we asked our waitress to bring us one of everything and I can't say I had a favorite as we wound up mixing them all! Service was a little on the slow side for refills (drinks, noodles and sauces) but order taking was prompt as was delivery of the food. To be honest, while I noticed a short delay, it was well within the parameters of any restaurant on a busy night. Had the opportunity to mee the owners (Frank and Vivian) and they were gracious and very welcoming. We look forward to going back and trying the sushi and Thai food. The menu choices looked delicious. Solid date night restaurant, lots of fun for couples or groups of friends!

One of my favorite places to eat, and some of the best Asian food you can find in the area. My favorite thing to order is the Shrimp Drunken Noodles-extra spicy paired with Edamame. I've also had the Thai Basil Fried Rice, a variety of their sushi rolls, and their Crysanthemum (spelling?) tea was delicious. A little on the pricer side for me, but the food is always served hot, in a timely manner, and is just delicious. Will happilt go back time and time again!

Food was ok, but the service was terrible. There were not enough menus for the table, the waitress messed up the drink order, then we waited forever for the drinks, then she got the appetizer order wrong and then we waited forever for those and then the entrees were cold. It wasn't even a full house so Im not sure what the problem was, but It really irked me because it was supposed to be an early celebration for Mother's Day, but by the time the entrees came we just wanted to leave and didn't even have dessert, kinda ruined the whole vibe of the night.

They interior design was nice. The waiter was nice. We got chicken drunken noddle, chicken fried rice, seafood tom yam soup and sushi lunch with miso soup and salad. The noddle, fried rice and the sushi were pretty good. But the soup taste terrible and the portion were small for the price that they charge. I sort of disappointed. But we're probably gonna be back to try the hot pot.

Took my parents to FF the other week to give it a shot. Inside is very upscale looking. Lots of dark mahogany and artwork all around. Nice lighting smiling faces, decent looking bar. Aesthetically, this place is very pleasing to the eye, they spent a good amount of time with that. Past that and moving onto the food I will say that firstly this place is a tad expensive. I took a glance at their fondu style menu and immediately sat it aside noting the prices. They may be fine for special occasions but this was not one of those times. We settled on an appetizer and some stir fry. Once again the plate presentation was stellar but the food amount to cost ratio for me was a tad skewed. Flavor was decent and seasoned well. I'll return here for celebrations, can't see making this a regular spot though.

Been wanting to try Fusion Fire since it opened, and finally got the opportunity. Great looking building and very nice atmosphere. Great place for a date or fun dinner with friends. It was strangely dead on a Thurs evening around 7PM. Food: Good. I had all Japanese, steamed dumplings, and asst. sushi rolls and nigiri. All the food was good, but none great. Sushi, while fresh enough, was not quite up to the freshness and quality of the fish at Miso. Having had sushi at some of the best spots in the world from Tokyo to NYC to LA, Fusion Fire is about a 5 where Miso is about a 6 out of 10. The last reviewer mentioned the bar, wish I had realized he meant sushi bar, because it's BYOB but we unfortunately didn't B. Service: Poor. They suffered from the old business-is-slow-so-service-is-going-to-be-too syndrome. Things were slow, so the staff somehow seemed take advatage of that and do nothing. They were standing in groups talking plenty, but very few visits over to our table to 6 to check on us. Our waiter would dissappear for a long time. Other times, our waiter seemed to be hustling to keep up with our 6, while his collegues stood in a group looking on, not helping at all. Didn't seem to be a manager on duty. I'll be back for the atmosphere with friends, but I'm not in a hurry..

The West Shore needed a fun restaurant like this. Plus it's family owned and operated, key word, operated. Great food, fun environment and ownership that care enough to deserve this place to succeed. What a great spot to enjoy my birthday dinner!

Fusion Fire made a fantastic first impression with attractive decor, comfortable seating, and an extensive menu. The server was attentive and we got our food without a long wait. We all thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers of sushi and dumplings. But the main courses were a little disappointing. My curry was too bland and my boyfriend had a thai noodle dish that was also lacking a lot of flavor. I would try it again though. The hot pot fondue looks very interesting.

I came here on a Saturday night with two friends, and thought it was great! The dining area was decrated with a modern Asian theme (lots of red and black), spacious, and set up to accomodate couples and large groups alike. The three of us ended up in a booth with a hot pot table. The drinks offered included some interesting teas, and I loved the floral jasmine tea I ordered. Alcohol is BYOB. There was a sushi menu, but we passed it over for hot pot. We chose two broths: tom yum (Thai ginger and lemongrass) and satay (spicy and savory with carrots and onion). Both were great, and different enogh that we had some variety. For food, we got crab balls (crab with practically no filler), chicken balls, prawns, broccoli, and mushrooms. We had to be careful to keep an eye on the meatballs, and time them - we left some chicken balls in too long and they got very tough. The portions were pretty large, and we were stuffed by the end of it. To top it off, we still ate the remaining broth as soup, just because it was so tasty. When the check came, I was surpised it was only around $20 for each of us. If I am in Harrisburg again, I'll definitely come back!

Had sushi and shrimp daka soba. The ambience is great, the food is good, and the presentation is excellent. However, the prices are slightly high. I will return and try the fondue.

First let me tell you that I love pad thai noodles and sushi, but Fusion Fire left A LOT to be desired! Pros: Nice decor Large menu Cons: Sushi was horrible. Warmish and almost rubbery...like it was not fresh. Pad Thai Noodles were EXTREMELY spicy! I've never had pad thai noodles like that before! Way overpriced! I paid almost $30 for chicken pad thai and a spring roll. I get the same thing from Amy's Thai in Carlisle for half the price - not to mention I can make two meals out of it! Small portions for the price. It was not at all busy the night that I went (Tuesday), but our waitress never cleared our appetizer plates, nor did she come back to check on us after our main meal was served. Also, the women's bathroom was dirty with toilet paper all over the floor, and no soap to wash your hands. Fusion Fire leave a lot to be desired. Maybe over time it will get better, but I do not plan to go back there again!

It was impulse, hunger, and sheer curiosity that took me to Fusion Fire. The signs pretty much read like food poisoning waiting to happen. The decor is both lavish and simple at the same time. I visited on a Sunday evening, and there was ample staffing so I didn't have a wait at all for a table. My server (I apologize, I've forgotten her name) was funny and charming and definitely knew the menu well enough to make competent recommendations (especially vegetarian ones!). My companion and I opted for sushi and hotpot. The sushi was spot-on. I do not remember reaching for soy or wasabi a single time. Everything was presented beautifully and not overdressed. The hotpot was definitely an unforgettable experience. My companion and I had a few overzealous misfires, but the fun and innovation of the experience outweighed any technical flaws. The food selection is amazing, from hotpot to sushi to Chinese to Thai food. I definitely plan to return.

The sushi here is wonderful!! Everything that we had tasted great. We didn't try the Hot Pots but want to go back and try it, they look like they would be really good. The restaurant is very attractive but the lighting was a little odd, Overall, we really liked this place. One hints though is to make a reservation, they fill up fast.
